R.A.C. Fitness offers a variety of group classes; however each client's program is designed based on their individual goals. We understand that each client has a different starting point. That’s why we take the time to determine where you are so we can set the best plan of action to achieve your goals.

At R.A.C. Fitness we work with people from all walks of life including Professional, College, High School, and Little League athletes both men and women, Corporations as well as individuals to provide the motivation, education, and the resources to achieve their Life and Fitness Goals.


Core Strength Training:

 

Core strength training may be a relatively new buzz term in the fitness industry but coaches and athletes have understood its value for many years. The core region consists of far more than just the abdominal muscles. In fact, core strength training aims to target all the muscles groups that stabilize the spine and pelvis. It's these muscle groups that are critical for the transfer of energy from large to small body parts during many sporting activities.

Body Composition Analysis:

Body Composition analysis is a physical test that measures the proportion of the various components of a person's body. The human body is comprised of water, protein, fat, and minerals - but for most purposes, it is the level of fat compared to lean mass that is of interest.

Standard body weight scales provide a measure of total weight, but don't determine the lean-to-fat ratio of that weight.

Standing on most scales can tell you only if you weigh more than the average person, but not if that weight is fat or muscle.

Based only on scale weight, a 250-pound athlete with 8% body fat may be considered "overweight" by a typical weight chart. Such charts are not a good indication of ideal body weight for general health or for athletic performance.

R.A.C. Fitness will conduct a Body Composition Analysis to determine your actual percentage of total body weight that is fat.

Weight Loss:

There is a substantial market for products which promise to make weight loss easier, quicker, cheaper, more reliable, or less painful.

Although all of these methods are often short-lived.

They include books, CDs, creams, lotions, pills, rings and earrings, body wraps, body belts and other materials, not to mention, weight loss groups, and food products.

US residents spend an estimated $30 billion a year on all types of diet programs and products, including diet foods and drinks.  Inaddition to the monies spent on diet programs, another $33 to $55 billion is spent annually on medical procedures and pharmaceuticals.

About 70 percent of Americans' dieting attempts are of a self-help nature.

Most Americans ultimately turn to Certified Personal Trainers to help them meet and maintain their weight loss goals. Unfortunately it's often after wasting both time and money.

Strength and Endurance:

Muscular strength and endurance training can be beneficial for your daily life on top of helping sport and recreational activity.

According to the American College of Sports Medicine, training muscular fitness improves fatigue resistance, increases bone density, develops better balance, increases glucose tolerance, increases joint and tendon integrity, decreases risk of sustaining injury through activity, improves the ability to perform daily activities and increases the amount of calories you burn at rest.
